Many men in MGTOW circles see MGTOW as a venue to reduce the supply/demand ratio in regards to women. They believe it will make women realize their folly and eventually having an epiphany about men's worth, so we can all go back to the 50's. The fact that they WANT to go back to the 50's and the idea of getting there with "punishing" women by removing low-status men from teh dating pool are the two major flaws in MGTOW circles. 

There are still many things were MGTOW is more realistic and preferable over the pathetic female worship in incel circles, where women are deified and worshipped as these goddesses who alone can give mere mortal men's lives meaning; and if the goddess rejects you, you can just as well kill yourself because woman are the meaning of life and if you believe there's more to it you commit the heresy of cope.
