Mgs fans what would you retcon?

Personally I would retcon solidus from mgs2 and most of phantom pain as it just really sucked ass (plot wise) once you enter Africa and shit.

I get that we needed venom to be outer heaven's boss to set up the first metal gear game but my god did they did it horribly. I still like the game after replaying I just realized it is bland.

It seems like they had a couple key npcs with little to no expounding upon and just crammed whatever they could into a putty for to fix the power imbalance that they left standing from Peace walker's ending (super lame move btw).

Due to the nature of the Internet surprise twists like "I've been a fake snake the whole time" get spoiled quite fast nowadays that shit could've worked back when mgs2 or 3 came out as virality wasn't really a thing with video game lore

Someone didn't use his listening ears while the characters chatted. If you did use them you'd see that mgs2 was one of the best written games even if you play as a nobody
