Ironically, communist China is the only nation cracking down on feminism currently. While I don't like communism in this particular case they're right and based. while communism is abrupt, and therefore many cultural institutions end up being preserved under the wrap of revolution. coz u cant even question the "authorities" when they act inconsistently or you end up getting arrested and put into labor camp
and thats why east germany ended up more nazis and fascist than west germany after reunification. not coz of poverty, but really coz east germany was more similar to nazi germany, while west germany under-went de-nazificaiton by radical youths in the 60s who were broguth up under Allied propaganda.
