yes. Its because we are more accustomed to the environment we have at home. We know how our family will react to our behavior and because of that we feel more confident to be ourselves. This is also extremely apparent when we're by ourselves, since literally no one is gonna react to our behavior but ourselves.

True, I do feel stronger alone. But then a insecure wannabe around people.
I feel so capable at home, but a pussy out there. My anxiety increases out of the blue to leave me insecure and unable to approach and talk to people.
