I am a mentally and socially disabled man, and even after all of this ridiculous lookism shit, I am expected to be a provider.

I can't imagine going to work and having to deal with coworkers even if my damaged brain could handle it.

Having money isn't enough, being good and tall isn't enough either today. And I have neither.

Never going to get a woman who provides or is ok with me potentially being NEET either.

Men have always been expected to provide. That expectation reaches back to the caves, when survival depended on the man's ability to hunt, fight, and bring food home. You can see the same thing across the animal kingdom. Male lions risk their lives defending the pride. Male emperor penguins endure weeks of starvation in the Antarctic cold while guarding the egg. The burden has always been there.

But we are not living in the Stone Age anymore, and we are not unthinking animals either. Women are not helpless creatures huddled by the fire, waiting for the man to drag back meat. They are able-bodied, educated, and more than capable of earning their own living. The trouble is that society has carried forward the ancient expectation for men while excusing women from meeting the same standard. We are told that "equality" is the order of the day, yet in practice equality is applied only when it benefits women.

I see no reason why a grown woman should be treated as a dependent child. If she is able to work, she should work. If she wants the independence she so loudly claims, let her prove it by supporting herself. A partnership between a man and a woman should mean both living as functional adults, not one living as the provider and the other as a perpetual dependent.
