As if it was not enough to draw the short straw at the genetic lottery... My younger brother is at least a 7,5/10 (he has been fucking foids since 13), so I had the pleasure to watch from closest distance how my life could have been if nature hadn't fucked me up. I was looking OK as a child, but things got pretty bad during puberty (jaw/lower face didn't grow, no undereye support, patchy beard). I have normal height, but that doesn't help much if your hips are wider than your shoulders (I look kinda slaggy even in my tightest shirts).
To make it short: At least I fit perfectly into the archetype of a loser/nerd back then (needless to mention that I sucked very, very bad at all kind of sports). However, I didn't have any psychological problems and managed to make some friends during my school years (but I always felt like a ghost around foids: mostly invisible and sometimes you could scare them to death by just the slightest touch).
So while I spent afternoons sitting in my room playing vidya, there were regularly some random foids showing up at our house who wanted to see my brother (sometimes you could clearly see the disgust in their faces when it was me who opened the door). This went on for some years before I finally decided to do something.
By that time I managed to make money by selling digital assets (this was before crypto became a thing). In the best years I made around 50,000 USD per month. So I went to see a maxillofacial surgeon abroad who was regarded as the best in his field. He showed me a lot of before/after pics and being quite impressed I quickly decided to go ahead. I didn't tell my family to avoid pointless discussions and just said I was taking some weeks off.
The surgery was pretty extensive, took about 8 hours (counter-clockwise rotation of jaws, cheek implants, jawline implants, chin correction). Afterwards I couldn't chew for weeks (had to stick to liquid stuff). No pain, but a lot of numbness in nearly all parts of my face which slowly subsided. Though I have some areas left that never regained normal feeling (parts of my palate and my chin). I can ignore it most of the time, but it still reminds me on a daily basis that I basically flushed down 100,000 USD down the toilet.
So here comes the surgerypill: When I came back home my mom just commented that I look bad (lol but well, I was still swollen by then) and asked me if something happend to me. I just told her I got ill and went to a hospital without going into details. In the months following NO ONE commented on my looks and from all I could tell they might not even have noticed that I had something done.
While I could see the difference on pics showing my profile, I look more or less the same in the front view (except that the checkbones are a bit more prominent). Also, facial expression etc. is just the same as before. And foids still ignored/avoided me just like they did before.
So my advice to you if you ever plan to ascend via surgery. Be careful and do your own research first. Surgeons will promise you everything if you have the money. Being a richcel they basically see a bag of money walking right through the door.
Also keep in mind that before/after shots are highly selected from the best shots of their very best results, these are often angle-pics under certain lightning which accentuates the changes. Watch videos of patients or even better, see them in person. And if you have a Class I bite, for heaven's sake do not go for jaw surgery if you can get the same or even better results with fillers / implants. Numbness is vastly underreported (they just tell you it will eventually go away on its own) but I don't know anybody who hasn't been left with some problems (and it can be way worse as you could develop TMD or even chronic pain). Implants are also not without risks. When I had done a X-Ray a few years later (at another doc's office) it showed some bone resorption which makes a revision procedure risky or even impossible (because of nerve exposure).
TL;DR: Moneymaxxing, got 100000$ surgery from world-renowned doc and here I am.
