Of course, there are well-known traits that are generally considered attractive in men… like facial symmetry, body symmetry, clear and smooth skin without blemishes, an even skin tone, a full head of healthy hair, tall stature, broad shoulders with a narrow waist (forming the ‘V-taper’), muscularity, low body fat, upright posture, a strong gait, straight white teeth, a healthy bite, and so on.
But then think about the BTS members versus someone like Hernán Drago. Hernán Drago is clearly more masculine in appearance than the BTS guys, yet both are considered attractive. Why? Because neither group has features that are generally viewed as deformities. None of them have severe cystic acne, extremely crooked teeth, protruding ears, a hunchback, a unibrow, a lazy eye, etc.
To go even further: not all women may find a hypermasculine jawline attractive, but nearly everyone would agree that a weak, mouth-breather-type jawline is unattractive. Similarly, not everyone might be drawn to ‘hunter eyes,’ but almost everyone agrees that a lazy eye is unattractive.
