Between 1:30—1:35 p.m., police received calls that a man with a firearm was shooting in the Las Vegas Athletic Club. Multiple rounds were fired during the shooting. A witness said they saw a dead man next to a machine while escaping, while another said the perpetrator's gun jammed so he started walking in circles. As police responded, the gunman exited the gym with the firearm and attempted to flee the scene, but was shot by police. The firearm used in the shooting was believed to be a long gun. The shooter was transported to University Medical Center and later pronounced dead
