Apparently it’s being able to provide for a family, cry whilst watching chick flicks or dramas, benchpressing 500 pounds minimum, never backing down from a challenge, and ofc looking like Thor or that guy from Arrow. Basically it’s being a guy that probably doesn’t exist.
Who defines this stuff?
imo gender roles are mostly informed by biology but have society's input depending on what kind of society it is.
However, perceived fighting success, dominance, strength and power is in our bone structures, it's in our biologies, and it cannot be changed. At its core masculinity is based upon the attributes of your ideal reproductively-successful male, which is why when women say "man up" they want you to become a sporty chad ceo instead of just grow a dick.

What about the request of a sensitive and understanding man, that is feminist nowadays, and maybe even more explorative within his sexuality?

Women say they don't want old-fashioned masculine men, but when you look at the statistics women are far more likely to divorce men who are new-age sensitive feminist cucks that show weakness. Did you know that even couples who share the chores are more likely to divorce than couples in which the woman does most of the chores as is traditional and the man does masculine stuff? Women, for the most part, despise soft men with every bone in their body. Soft men didn't rear successful offspring when we were hunter-gatherers. No normal man actually takes that male feminist stuff to heart, and women are extremely dishonest even to themselves so we shouldn't trust what they claim to have taken to heart.
Prettyboys have good facial structures and can Beibermaxx with their genetics because genetics is king, but once they start aging or balding foids will start smelling their blood in the water too.

Masculinity is a combination of physical sexually dimorphic traits (height, frame, signs of high testosterone in facial features) and dominant/aggressive behaviour.
Are there different kinds of women though, that prefer different men?
Masculinity is mostly cope. Looks > masculinity.
If we can't achieve looks, should we still try to achieve masculine traits as much as we can?
That's a theory called "ogremaxxing", it was in fact recommended for me in looksmaxx.org
But I'm very skeptical of its efficiency since I was already a bulked ogre and approached hundreds of foids unsuccessfully.
