Insight on who she is:
How is this hypocritical?
Its really hypocritical how she TRIED to set up a better "life" for her friend(which feminism promotes, equality and empowerment etc). But only brainwashed her fuck up her life.
Mary was a feminist, who set up the upcoming Marx to spread her ideas of breaking up the family which she wasnt fond of herself since she felt empowered and felt like others too didnt need to form a family and be part of the upbringing of a child.
So she ended up convincing her friend to leave her husband which lead to:
This is utter nonsense, in fact this further elaborates on what they are willing to go through just to prove that they do not need a male figure in their family.
Nobody cares if she lives in poverty, which is good because people like this do not deserve to live in a normal family. Their whole life purpose is to prove a point. But for what?
It was all intentional, even back in the 1780's it was all set up to later impact this in the future. With small steps and sacrifices being made just for them to prove a point, I think this is absolutely crazy the extents some people are willing to brainwash others and for others to take the bait just to prove that they dont need someone to start a family with. This is "liberation" from its roots basically.
It all started with leaving and loosening up connections with your husband. Now? Its just outright not even looking at other peoples directions.
Its a lie, which has deluded people into thinking its the truth to feel this way. The same way her friend deluded herself into thinking it was going to be fine.
Wollstonecraft
Mary Wollstonecraft was an English writer, philosopher, and advocate of women's rights. During her brief career, she wrote novels, treatises, a travel narrative, a history of the French Revolution, a conduct book, and a children's book

So she ended up convincing her friend to leave her husband which lead to:
her living in extreme poverty due to no sustain from the husband
not allowing her husband to keep expanding on their family
leaving the Child without a mother
husband was left in a absolute emotional mess
actively lived in harsh conditions to prove a point
actively looked for other males (no weddings)
she still put a mask on living a better life(despite being far from that)
