Think about it. If you marry a woman it means you are stating you will love her no matter what happens. She might become some religious freak over time, or a feminists or whatever...you will still love whatever it is that she transforms to.

The entire concept of promising someone feelings is ridiculous. I mean who would make a "best friends for life" contract with their best friend. You are either friends or it turns out you are not really friends in which case your friend and you have to go separate ways. Why would I guarantee a human being that I will stay with them forever.

I think marriage is a beautiful concept actually. The only reason why it doesn't make sense in this day and age is because we live in society where adultery is no longer looked down upon/punished and because of no-fault divorce. People no longer try to keep their marriage working because they can just check out and find someone else.
But if we lived in a tradional society where women weren't allowed to be as hypergamous and slutty as they are in the modern west, I would have loved to marry.

I see marriages benefits foids mostly, because a Foid is physiologically monogamous while a dude is not. When a foid is carrying a child, she cant do much else, she need 1 man to provide for her and protect her. People like weddings same as some people, like myself, take guilty pleasure in attending funerals (not that I've been to many at all, nor do I attend random ones "Fight Club" style). In the old days it was simple:

1. Man sets himself up as capable of providing and protecting

It was never possible to begin with, love doesn't exist, its an illusion, it "worked" before, because there were financial and social restrictions that forced humans (mostly women) to behave and kept order, those were never truly "loving" relationships either, humans need to be kept on a leash because most of us are just walking impulses, NPC's, unable to think rationally about anything, love never existed
