I doubt a WW3 interconnected war of factions will occur.
I believe the whole world will be blankted with independent conflicts not related to each other, which will be just as destructive but I am being pedantic.

I also believe no one cares much about fighting China considering how unenthusiastic Europeans and Americans were in crushing the Russian army when they could have easily in the early days before they locked in and gained massive amounts of experience + mastering drone warfare IMO.
