DS one was my childhood, but Wii mogs.

My older siblings owned 64 but I was too young to really play it, Wii was my first Mario kart I've played
The OG SNES version. A major part of my childhood.
Super Circuit and DS. Also played a lot of Wii back in its hayday.

What's strange is that even though I owned a DS I never had the Mario kart for it, I'm sure everyone played Wii at one point, I did play a few minutes of Super Circuit on one of those online emulator sites years ago

Even if its trash I still like the Sky Garden track, but yeah every other Mario kart mogs it

I remember 7 being advertised heavily back in the day, with the gliders and all that
It was an OK game. I don't think it's great. There were some good original tracks but too few characters and the retro tracks sucked. Overall it was a downgrade from Wii and an upgrade from DS.
The gliders and underwater imo shouldn't have been added. They detracted from gameplay.

Mario Kart Wii will forever be my favorite, I played the deluxe 8 with DLC too but the Wii version feels more nostalgic. I remember me and my brother playing it and having fun, good times

Btw i just remembered the existence of the mobile game version, which i also played
The day the game went out, we had a class in a lecture hall that morning, and probably 90% of the people here were downloading the game
Looking around, everyone was downloading it, crazy shit
It was huge for like three weeks then completely vanished

Double Dash doesn't deserve the hate it gets
I liked it. I enjoyed being able to switch between two characters.
N64 Mario Kart, then Game Cube. The latter didn’t come out tile I was like 3, and I didn’t get one till I was a few years older than that.
