I notice these few words all the time from lolicon artists and from those which are not and it simply makes me bobble mine head in amusement. Even when the materials presented are not pornographic or even remotely explicit, I observe artists who do create great pieces of art and once I go forth and view their full profile, I am met with their ,,Do Not Interact" list, and even though there is nothing legitimately preventing the everyday pedophile from interacting or merely viewing their media content, as there is no way that they would know if someone was a MAP-pedo-cartographer whatever. They will still stick this badge of moral superiority in their profile, again, as if it would do anything at all.
Should they not instead be saying "MAPs please enjoy my art because I understand such art is used by many pedophiles to supplement their real world desires". Most often they feel that if pedophiles were to enjoy their arts, it would make the public eye hate fictional art more than they already do, mind you since the public who are out spoken about such things aren't going simply by the argument of "It is not real". They claim ,,MAPs, DNI" because they are aware, rather Afraid of being perceived as the actual pedophiles, and so they must belittle their actual consumers in their own search for a positive moral perception.
This phenomenon can be seen among other groups of peoples also. Furfags will claim that they are not actually zoophiles, banderites will claim that they are not actually nazis, drag queens will claim that they are not actually simply looking to molest children (and once one of them does just that, the rest will do their best to cover that event) and so forth. It is all a great projection.
