The one thing that pisses me off about gaming today is seasons pass prices and having to pay for dlc I miss the days when you buy a game and it was complete.

We have reached the point of diminishing returns in gaming and 3D animating. Its just not going as fast as it used to. 1 million dollars can make things look only so much better now when it could make things look 10 times better in 2000.
Its the same with movies. Look at a big budget movie from 2010 and one from recently. And then look at one from 2000. There was a much bigger jump from 2000 to 2010 than 2010 to now.

The gaming world, at least. The world's been going downhill since 9/11 happened.
As long they support the industry, nothing would change.
Capabilities seem to have plateaued.
Crysis is one of the most nostalgic games for me. 2007-2008 was still ok, no smartphones.
Cern actually ended the world in 2012
Crysis was fucking dank. Not only graphics still hold up today (you can still test computers on that game 
) but it had awesome physics and good AI. I really recommend playing that game, no other part of crysis series was as good as this one.

Because the gaming industry abandoned all forms of quality standards after the 00's, you will never see games from the last decade to be on sites like GOG in the far future because most are utter trash
