It is widely accepted that 5'10 is the cutoff for manlet status but I have seen men 5'9 and 5'8 who don't have silly looking proportions, including myself (I am a gymcel). I would say that if you are below 5'7 that it's officially over, below that is literal childlike size. To add on, the average height of a man in NA is about 5'9, so why would we assume that the average man would just barely break out of the manlet-tier? What are your thoughts?

I can't speak for what manletism is objectively. All I know is, I'm shorter than most people I meet. Save for kids.

6 ft is the cutoff for manlet

I have seen either 6'0 or 5'11/5'10. Like I said I'm around that height but I don't have manlet proportions, and most people are my height unless they are basketball players or Chads.

5´7" seems to be about right.

And JFL at 5´9" is the average height for men, maybe where you live. In Denmark the average height for men is 6´1"

Average height includes all ages. That means shriveled 80 year olds (men lose one inch of height every 20 years after age 40) and people who grew up during hard times when there was no food. You're not competing with them. For young guys in developed nations, the average height is 5'11" or more.

Tfw 5'6
Tfw actual children heighmog me
Tfw cant see the top shelves at a bookstore without a stool or jumping
Tfw hardly even human

I'm not sure. I'm short (5'6), but I really think my face holds me back more than my height...

Don't get me wrong: You HAVE to be tall to be slayer. However, given the choice, I'd choose to be better looking in the face than taller. I think that'd do me more good.

I agree with you there. I'd take face over height any day, though I'm 5'9.

At 5'9 the choice is definitely a bit easier.
I'm not sensitive about it or anything because I realized that alot of people are around my height. My concern was originally about the fact that we might be classifying people as manlets when they actually aren't.

5'9 is neither manlet status nor ideal status. Someone who is 5'9 probably shouldn't feel like their height is an asset, but they also have no right to complain.

Maybe compare it to like a 5.5 inch penis. It's approximately average, and you can't call yourself a Dickcel, but you also probably shouldn't be bragging to others about the size of it.

That's acceptable. I didn't want to compare my own height but I realized that alot of my friends are at the height where they would be considered a manlet yet don't appear as one, or even people on TV or people you see on the street. It's confusing sometimes so I personally believe that 5'7 should be the true cutoff, with 5'11 and up as ideal.

Not sure. I'm 5'6 and have had plenty of 5'7 friends who are treated like Manlets.

I would still consider 5'7 manlet... 5'8 is probably closer to non-manlet status.

At 5'6 (actually about 5'6.5 barefoot) I feel like I'd need more than an inch to be out of manlet range.
