I saw the reddit thread for this. The guy is north of 40 and the age range he was willing to date was a year older than him down to like 30 years old, which is a pretty large range so his dating pool was bigger than most. He travels for his work and making shit-tonnes of money, so he was using tinder in several different cities, further increasing the pool.

Don't know if he was a chad in terms of looks, but he's rich, has a high social status job, and is willing to date older women. That explains how he got those high numbers of dates.
