There were many times when I made my mother cry, mostly through my permanently declining mental state. Because Im low iq, oftentimes with rising levels of depression and frustration, I made the mistake of trying to talk to her about my problems and condition which understandably yielded nothing but my mother crying, getting angry with me, trying to get me into therapy (which surprise did nothing) and even sending me to the hospital. Last time I remember making her cry was when I asked her about why she had to give birth to me.

I know it's cruel to do this to someone, especially my mother since she is not abusive or anything but like I said, I'm mentally very weak and can only hold things inside for so long. It's also very weird to me and makes me sad that she still holds out hope for me even though I'm a failure in most regards. Wonder what is going to happen when the realization finally hits.

Somewhat true, but in end the Kurt Kobain still killed himself because no amount of validation can ever make up for being rejected by your caretakers when you were young.

It’s true that being ugly will make your parents treat you worse, but that’s if we keep the parents constant. The personality of the parents is way more important on whether they will be neglectful or loving to their child.

I made my mother cry when I had my first suicide attempt but apart from that Ive never made her cry.
