My face is all red (hyperpigmentation) and scarred (hypertrophic too) from acne. Thinking about trying on makeup but really don't want people too notice. I can't get laser done cause of ROTC medical standards but I'll ask command this year and try. For reference, imagine a guy with the type of scarring in the 1st pic, in addition to two hypertrophic scars (2nd pic) on the side of his face. Yeah, that would be me.

Dermaflage is considered the best for this kind of thing, when applied properly it should look pretty much like normal skin to the average person.

Honestly just wear some concealer if it bothers you. Guys won't notice and girls wont care.

Surgery can fix this won’t be too expensive $100-$900 . Depending on the severity of the scars and what type. Acne scars are cheap to get rid of something chemical peels and microdermabrasion or Dermabrasions
