Major anecdotal findings from majorthomas: Nobody eats at table anymore!

I walk down my street at night during dinner — I've been doing this for a decade — and noticed that nobody (except one very religious sub5 family) eats at the dinner table anymore. Not one family. In fact, out of the hundreds of homes in my area, I have yet to see any other family eat at a dinner table, but every night the flicker of the Talmudvision pirouettes through their ' blinds. Every night, all night, and everyday, all the time.

These are Gen X, older millennial and boomer families. Zoomers are mostly cordoned off in cities where I spend no time. Zillennials are in rural basements waiting for family to die.

True. But in colonial times the women were dressed well, the community actually cared about even the most sub5 man (as long as he didn't come down with an illness, as that meant certain death) and people ate together. I think the reason we exist as we do, is because of the way society treats us. It was much different when you didn't know about global affairs or some Chad or Stacy bitch 100 miles away.

That said, if you were an autist, they'd probably lobotomize you.

I can only focus on the disgusting sounds people make when I eat with other people. I can't stand it.

Eating around other people makes me uncomfortable.

Mouth noises really drive me up a wall and I worry about how others see me eating as well.

Drinking is fine, though.
