autism and political correctness should never be in the same sentence together because a great deal of political correctness is simply moral sensibilities that are justified only and by mere virtue of just being moral sensibilities being embedded into the social contract because it makes people feel good. Autistis literally can't pick up on anything social that doesn't have a logical basis, that's what autism is, lmao. Autists face the oppressive nature of being condemned for even thinking of something they were never told was wrong. This ironically, is ableism... and saying that there are no excuses for whatever they're being condemned for is just outright ridiculous because it's not an excuse, it's an explanation.
I also have an extremely low general disgust sensitivity so as to be confused why throughout the course of my life, people engaged in this weird fucking "eww, gross, I'm gonna gag" ritual (that i thought was exclusive to westerners at the time) whenever presented with pictures of poop, open wounds, chewed food, pornographic images, or just something not as aesthetically up to standard. The problem is that this general disgust sensitivity also extends to behavior and principles, so it's also abstract. to not make too long, what i'm trying to say is that disgust sensitivity also extends to the moral landscape, and the landscape of another thing (google image "disgust sensitivity" to see what I'm referring to)
I was afforded the privilege in life to find this otu when i was (and still kind of am) still considered "a kid" or "innocent child" to society, enough to be deemed a victim... anymore later and I would've been crucified for quite literally doing nothing but being an earnest truth seeker that simply questions (like i was doing already when i was 16) with no malice (because that's what autism is), just because it rubs some people the wrong way.
It's this same mechanism of action is applied to a great deal with legitimate grievances here.
Yeah i may need to shut up about things that may offend others because i will get crucified, but i at least have the privilege of even knowing that i have to self censor in order to survive. many of us metaphorically die before we even get a chance to survive because we are unable to pickp on the NT landmine circus.
