too bad normies don't seem to grasp what are the songs about. They imagine it's about some usual romantic thing, but I believe these songs are way too deep and sorrow to be talking about mundane things, normal people experience. Morrissey himself is not a normal person I'd say.
A lot of Morrissey's songs talk about loneliness, not being desirable, rejection, not finding love, dying alone... They speak to me on a personal level almost.
