So due to a couple of fucky wuckys I made when applying to IBEW 46 witch is the electrical union of WA state, I figured I might as well apply to HVAC jobs and pray I dont have co workers stealing my tools. If I even make it to a fucking job..
This is the 3rd day in a row were I applyed to 5 jobs per day in hopes of getting a HVAC job. And in hope I can get a good enough fucking job and GTFO of amozon. Damn place is full of souless ness. The people there are decent minus one or 2 assholes. And the handfull of foids who act like assholes.
IDK what advantage I have in the HVAC industry. On one hand I seem to be more driver seated in some ways then others my age. Like all my peers in the HVAC class of mine were in there 40s, Im 25. But on the other hand the few who were my age were fucking stupid. One girl treid using the prongs from a clamp meter to measure amperage instead of the clamp and all the others near my age didnt know what they were doing.
But most HVAC techs or tradesmen reall who are competent are probably 30 at the earlyest but more realisticly somewere between 40 and 60. Old as shit. My uncle in HVAC is in his 60s and he is showing signs of needing help in doing even his own job. I know one day he needed me to help him move around a oil tank (oil in HVAC can either be AC oil or in this case desiel for deasiel furnaces) for some old ladies oil furnace. Except the old ladie was a fucking idiot and ignored my uncles advice on not letting the tank fill up with oil so we were unable to move the tank around.
As the worlds brains degradate, IDK what advantage Ill be having with my knowlege in trades and shit. I do have some grip in doing HVAC work. I wish I could just be a electritian instead. But hey what the fuck do I know? Most managers I personally know are incompitent in there job. I seen it in retail and Ill probably see it in what ever trade I get into. Who knows.
