People dwell on and on about the things they have said and will say, and they become worried that they've ruined their image or that people might not like them for some particular comment they made, or some ideology they expressed. As a twelve year old, I was occupied daydreaming of the marriage and how I had to start early, yada yada, 'too nice', 'too shy', too  something, and wham, thirty-three and never an intimate encounter.
