I really think that for the vast, vast majority of guys if they are given the option of plentiful 18+ women (even 16+ is mostly legal in many places) then they wouldn't bother with the risk and so on of trying to have sex with a 15 year old.

We even do tacitly acknowledge this in the mainstream. Chris Hansen for example often asks these guys if they're lonely. It's kind of an open secret I think that many of these guys are just desperate.
