Locationcel: Are california people more judgmental than east coast people?

I moved from west coast to east coast about a year ago, and I must say, people here seem a lot less judgmental here on the east coast than they did where I grew up on the west coast. I don't mean judgmental for being a dick, I just mean judgmental for being a little bit WEIRD. I recently attended a conference for work that was attended by people all over the world, and I noticed that when I interacted with people from California, and I said or did something a little bit weird or out of the ordinary, they would subconsciously give me a disgusted facial expression and then actively try to ignore me afterwards. I live in an NYC suburb and it seems like people here aren't as judgmental if you are a little bit weird.

Yes, good looking people flock to the west coast in hopes of making a career, so it has a large amount of attractive people there. Attractive people are generally more judgmental then ugly people because of their vanity.

Californiacel checking in, this is my experience as well. While shallowness exists on the east coast, it is far less intense than that of the west coast.
