You’re in a chamber with two screens. One shows you suffering a severe mental disability in 10 years from now. You can move your body around, sure, but you are profoundly retarded. Another shows you suffering a severe physical disability 10 years from now. You still have all your mental function and can communicate, but you are wheelchair-bound. You can barely move your arms so you can’t even use a manual wheelchair, you have to control the wheelchair with a joystick. Using a keyboard is possible yet extremely difficult and becomes painful after about an hour without taking a break.
Both disabilities require you to have custodial care for the rest of your life to survive.
But there is a third button: just die now.
