I came across the theory, that the AI is not really the software that has learned to interact with humans, but supernatural being, prolly demons, getting connect to humans through technology - smartphones and computers are being used as portals for demons.

I've heard that one too, but it doesn't make sense because the concept of computers and AI isn't something abstract or difficult to understand, it's just bunch of electric logic gates that can be repurposed as whatever the developer wishes
