The source of all my problems and unhappiness is the inherent boring and tedious nature of life.

Yeah, yeah, looks, blackpill yada yada...

I'm just so tired by now, you know? Why wasn't I born in an easier reality where you don't have to spend your time working and learning boring shit?

it's hard for all of us bro, all of us

Same.

It's all just so dull. Everything tires me. I don't have anything that drives me.

For a while I tried to be religious and was looking forward to enter the Heavenly Jerusalem.
I always imagined the Heavenly Jerusalem to be a literal city where I would have a literal apartment with view over the Tree of Life. And the capitalists and the feminists would all burn in hell, while the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would wipe the tears out of my face.

But it's just too hard to believe that.

Now I just daydream about being someone else somewhere else.

just living in the modern age everything is overcomplicated and a major pain in the dick. wish I had the strength to brave it. wish i was dead too

Normies have it good. They travel, date, learn with passion. We're just cursed.

I take you went the Protestant route. You should try something more traditional, something more mystical and esoteric and not so materialistic and literalist, something like Orthodoxy (Catholicism is something of a lost cause now that the effects of Vatican II are reaching critical mass).

For instance, according to Orthodox teaching, the Heavenly Jerusalem is a state of being, not an actual place you go to. Christ said that the kingdom of God is within us. The religious path is one of inward realization, material rewards don't enter the picture at all, either in this life or the next.

Yes, Calvinism. I like how much they emphasize predestination. It felt the most "realistic" to me. You're either one of God's chosen people or you're just a "vessel of wrath prepared for destruction" (Romans 9:22) like Pharaoh. This feels very blackpilled to me:

"Every Night and every Morn
Some to Misery are born.
Every Morn and every Night
Some are born to Sweet Delight.

Some are born to Sweet Delight,
Some are born to Endless Night."

Yeah iktf, what's the point of happiness when you have to suffer every single day to get it?

Drugs and alcohol man, not even kidding here.

it helps.

There's aspects of Protestantism i like, such as their sense of piety, which is a big part for instance of the musical tradition of Germany which culminated in Bach, but i just find the whole perspective too down to earth for my tastes. Medieval Christianity, whether east or west, has this otherworldly, transcendent aspect to it that i find a lot more appealing.

You better cope or rope tbh

It's all so tiresome
