A small peice of advice, if your car needs some type of maintenance like spark plugs or brakes or fuel injectors. Just buy the part and fix it your self. I see so many people waste hundreds of dollars taking it to fucking Jiffy Lube or some small time car mechanic. Dont do that. You can buy better longer lasting parts and spend less money total. With 300 $ I was able to fix 6 major Issues with my CRV that would have costed me 2000$ at a mechanics place. I aint no car geek. But I at least know how to do things my way and save money doing it. Granted there are some exceptions. Dont get equipment for oil or any fluid change unless its at a house youll be living at for a really long time were you keep needed aditional equipment over the years. Some things done by your self can only save money in specific conditions. But if its just parts. Most of it can be solved your self in either a hour or 20 minutes.

You tube videos tend to have info for, most normal cars. If its a old ford or homda no problem as long as its not some weird discontuned type of car. Those dont get any video tutorials support or replacement parts really. I got a 2001 honda CRV and rock auto deosnt have the best but a decent veriety of parts.

I think the key is to know which stuff you are capable of fixing and what stuff is best left for a professional.
