I follow this one account documenting Saudi liberalization process by their prince Mohamed bin salman and it’s quite shocking how easily societies can change. 10 yrs ago Saudi women couldn’t drive but now they have concerts, discos, bars and parties something that was deemed impossible merely a decade ago. Are we truly that easy to mold as a species. To take one of most conservative societies in 21st century and within a decade they have sluts partying at disco clubs.

lol if you knew any people from Iran you would realize most are atheist and hate Islam. Only truly religious country at this moment are African Muslim countries and Afghanistan. I know there’s this idea that Muslims are religious nut heads but avg Muslim is as a fake observant of their religion as avg Christian. Take for example the fact that music is haram most Muslims don’t care, art is haram most Muslims don’t care, interacting with opposite sex that isn’t a family or your wife is impermissible. I’m not even a Muslim myself but I just find it interesting at end of day only a small percentage of people take their religion seriously.

Firstly, there are no trillionaires in the world. Unless they're dictators. In which case, they obviously care about the economic state of their country. While most billionaires are embedded in politics in some way. They have to be to protect their money and assets, often. See Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos (buying the Washington Post), Trump, Russian oligarchs etc.

Rich people are the most obsessed with money, that's how they got rich. You don't get rich and suddenly stop caring about money. It's an ideology and a belief system.

That I agree, but you can do that while keeping your foids in check. What Bin Salman is doing with his societal reforms is aiming for a cultural shift. Saudi Arabia makes something like 16 billion in revenue from tourism. So even if they can improve upon it by promoting western degeneracy, it'd still be a chump change for these guys. Not to mention, western degeneracy could result in loss of tourists from Muslim countries given they make a huge percentage of tourists.
