Kazakhstan is actually one of the best run countries in the modern world.

Went from being a Soviet hinterland shithole to having practically the same GDP PPP per capita as Greece, not far off from Japan even.

Their fertility rebounded from 1.8 in 1998 to 3.3 in 2021.
