One of the best copes to live with Inceldom is self learning.

I failed university. Wasn’t for me, Im ND, inpatient, disorganized, couldn’t keep up with better than me normies. I just desired a modern office job but it seems like s gonna be degree restricted for me, so I will not give a fuck and create something of my own.

I think universities should be repealed from Incels, and I would suggest devs to create a new section, Learning.is or whatever u wanna call it, ENTIRELY dedicated to functional STEM content, not academic, but hands on tools to achieve something in the short term, handholded (lmao feels) guides, curated by us, and were we can evaluate the quality of each publication. I would expect a lot of AI ML DL guide content. Even if someone puts a full guide on how to build a bee drone with computer vision, that would be great.

Remember that we are a society of our own and should act like one, it is cucked for you to rely to normietuitions. Even if the content source is not original, even if it’s just a “learning path” txt with some links, or a Google Drive, Mega link with pdf books, everything could be helpful.

Your brains do not deserve rotting 24/7, and Im not just a rotter, Im the Arceus of time wasters. Trying to get out of it once for all.

No future for our face, we might aswell give one for those to come.

Be the unheard voice that crawls from the depths of sorrow and defeat all evil with our twisted minds.

Brake the chains and make it rain down.

Yes learn some skill for hobby.

That’s right, but most of us don’t do it cause we don’t relate to people outside our bubble. But imagine us collaborating on a project. “So let’s build a game, a soulslike where the backbone story revolves around a frail soul that was hurted to a point of no return, and now is full of wrath”. Like that. Or maybe we decide to collaborate for something else, like an algorithm or a ML model. If someone doesn’t know one thing u link them the course journey to follow.

SO TRUE

I've always been abysmal at math, so I've recently started putting myself through a 'faux school year' where I spend at least 2 hours per day on trying to teach myself using textbooks I pirate online. I also want to teach myself JavaScript, and I've done alright so far. I also want to learn how to draw.

Due to being constantly burned out, I can't seem to lose interest in anything. Sometimes I still have it, and I can actually hyperfocus, but unfortunately, I lose it because I'm burned out. This is what life is like for the average sub5.

U see that could be great, but I would imply that everything is functional and non-obsolete. U said that u wanted to learn drawing, maybe u could calibrate that to create content through prompt engineering or create some generative tool

There could be another way

There could be another way
Another way to what? as long as I'm an Incel there might be another way to get burnout but not another way to cope

Your bio should be self explanatory

Hi, regarding this - if anyone has questions regarding ANYTHING (and I really mean anything) related to computer science/software engineering, hit me up!
Also OP, cool initiative. +1

Bruv I wanna be self taught to develop ml models or whatever an individual with no prior experience, low attention span, prob just a 24yr old edgelord that won’t do shit but hes still gonna try cause there’s nothing left to lose - can do. What do you suggest to start from. Don’t tell me I must master python or math first cause I will not (initially). My brain needs constant stimulation approval and reward. Im trying with deeplearning AI website and ML specialization beginner course doesn’t seem too bad.

I really don’t know what I could deploy, I Just want to feel included in this.

And it is. Being interested in something won't do me any good because I can't sustain my attention. My nervous system has given up, although if it weren't for that, I'd already be planning an ER.

If you don't already know it, start learning Python by just reading through some basic tutorial/documentation (eg. w3schools) and experimenting, even if what you write serves zero practical purpose.

ChatGPT is honestly a very good resource for asking small, specific questions relating to programming, so I'd advise you use that if you get stuck on or confused about a single concept. Obviously don't rely on it to write/fix your code, just ask it simple questions. Google is good as well, but you likely won't get the same level of specificity by searching for results online.

Learning and experimenting with programming is incredibly engaging and satisfying IMO (this is coming from someone who doesn't really enjoy learning about any other topics) so you will very likely be able to maintain a decent level of stimulation.

Do you think 24 is too late? Ive be going back and forth to it for years but never took it seriously and started wageslaving. Not because I didn’t like it, but rather I wasn’t capable of long term effort and craved immediate resolution, in a dead end job thats is gonna disappear soon. I dont wanna end like thies. I will never work for a big corp, not even degree holders can sometimes, I understand. But I don’t wanna be left behind in this, I don’t wanna be ignorant about the future. In trying to sit and learn, Ive and hard time with books but courses seem to be working now.

I'm not sure if its much help but i know a site that compiles a lot of free resources for every educational topic including coding and stuff

Good idea, the education system is dogshit in general.
I started teaching myself web development not too long ago.

Not at all. It's not uncommon for people to only really start learning programming in-depth until they are well out of highschool, as many schools' programming courses are minimal.

I suggest you focus on just learning basic concepts and making small, useless scripts just to demonstrate these concepts to yourself. I think experimenting and tinkering is the most engaging and also a good way of retaining information, more so than just reading a bunch of documentation on its own (especially as a beginner).

Also, don't set out to learn a full course of every topic within Python, just focus on small, basic concept one at a time.

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. Could you elaborate?

Drawing is now outdated as the form of learning to draw by yourself. You should instead learn to create content through machines and AI engines. I would want Incels to invest their time in “state of the art current tech”, think about it as we need to take care of our people in this new industrial revolution. A resistance, where each of us has an expertise, like I could create something cool and u give it back with something else. “Gaming is now woke expensive garbage?” Aight, let’s make the thing on our own, let’s stop relying on the outside. How do you do it? Like 30yrs ago, manually and wating years for it? I would rather hop on latest gen ml models and prompt them to create what we desire.

Not necessarily incel related content, just creating our own ecosystem of things in the internet. Whatever u wanna build, like the amish but on the web, jumping from incels to fictional nerds. Maybe we decide to create a new tech entirely. No degree, no linkedin, no skillset, none of that garbage, a handful of solitary individuals longing for redemption in this sorrowful existence.

My apologies, I see what you're saying now. It's an endearing thought, but I doubt it could work on the scale I'm sure it would require.

Two hours a day is crazy, I literally don’t have the drive to do anything but rot.
