This happened years ago
Last time i tried to ask a girl out i was at a shopping mall looking for pants. I walked into a emo store along the lines of spencers or whatever to see what they had.
The cashiers was really pretty and she was using a cane, she was disabled she probably had a severe leg injury.
Ive always felt something special for women in wheelchairs and/or other minor physical disabilities, i dont know… i guess i felt like i could help them and nurture them and make their life easier.
I walked up to her and i started making small talk, then at some point i just said “imma be honest with you i think youre cute so i was wondering if i could maybe take you out for some coffee?”
And i swear on everything and everyone the look on her face was so discouraging, it was the same facial expression you make when you see something extremely cringe or shockingly disgusting. Almost like she just opened a box and there was a dead rat inside and smelled horrible. Her facial expression said a million things without actually saying anything.
She looked away and i dont remember what she said but it mustve been along the lines of “no thanks im fine” she wasnt mean or anything but goddamn it the look on her face man
fuck man why does life have to be like this…
