She was telling me about her autistic son that has learning disabilities and how he has to go outside and do strange things as a coping mechanism when stressed. Then she said he does the same thing that she has seen me doing such as pacing outside and touching trees to "ground" himself. I remember when she first saw me doing it she mentioned that her son is just like me (didnt know he was autistic then).
