It doesn't matter what you think of Kiwifarms. The issue is that governments are trying to extend their inane laws to countries outside their jurisdiction to control the internet to the extent that you will need to go on Tor just to have an honest conversation.
It's dangerous for freedom, liberty, and truth. This is them trying to manifest a global Thought Police who will determine which thoughts are acceptable and which thoughts are not, then hunt down all the "undesirables" across the world who voice unpopular opinions.

Facebook and google do release so called "transparency reports" where they disclose how many government requests they receive and how often they give up data on users. The letter sent by the NZ police to Kiwi Farms is the same type of letter sent to any type of tech company. It has been like this for years.
