Kinda want to buy CLANNAD

The original 2004 version on a disk, I saw some on sale for 50-200€.

I would have to patch it to be English since I can't read Japanese, which is a bit annoying but I think having a physical copy would be nice.

Anyone here played it? If so, what do you think of it?

but all i remember is that tomoyo route was about whiteknighting her from Sunohara
Kyo/Ryo route was long and insufferable
Kotomi route was ok
Route about some old teacher was the most meaningless thing in that game
i think 2004 version doesn't have voice lines of characters, but 2008 version does

i think 2004 version doesn't have voice lines of characters, but 2008 version does

Yeah, I don't think 2004 version has any voice lines but there definitely is a version with them, although I can't remember if it was fully voiced.

I haven't played many either, but I would like to get more into them, there are many interesting looking ones.
