I genuinely feel embarrassed I used to believe in that bullshit, redpilled, and pseudo-scientific nonsense known as “NoFap.” However, since we were all once bluepilled and/or redpilled, I will offer myself -as well as other copers lurking or on here- some degree of understanding & discern my experiences so you can realize the profound delusion of NoFap & it’s die-hard grifting copers.
I first heard of NoFap after my Freshman year(ninth-grade) of HS, when I was fapping 1-2 a day on average, and sometimes even 3-4 if I was able to really push myself. This was around the time when I began to somewhat discover the “redpill” -which also happened to coincide with the 2016 election- and also actually really started to care about my social status, how I appealed to foids, etc.
I don’t recall the specific moment, but I stumbled across a video discussing NoFap, the benefits of it, etc. Thus, in my naivety & with my burning desire to “improve” I decided to attempt it.
I remember it was rough at first, and I had quite a few issues in trying to even make it a day or so: However, I eventually discovered the subreddits around it, and found some better advice on it. A lot of the stuff was quite standard, such as “take a cold shower to kill urges” “keep yourself distracted” etc. yet some of it got into spiritualism, mysticism, etc. I do have somewhat of a belief & value in that stuff, since I’m agnostic & adhere to the laws of nature -which i’ve noticed correlates somewhat with the blackpill & scientific beliefs- but the way they utilized it in order to make a justification for abstaining from cooming is pathetic.
Another thing I noticed about NoFappers, is that many of them actually are normies on dry-spells or even married guys, yet this somehow was supposed to help a KHHV such as myself? I think that’s when I began to question it, as well as from the fact that whilst I did notice some short-term benefits(more energy, focus, etc) I never saw the long-term benefits which were promised to me, such as reviving positive attention from foids.
If you’re a NoFap coper, just stop- it won’t work.
