Story Just woke up from two nasty nightmares

First one was about some weird plant zombie apocalyse, prepping and deciding what to take with me and what to leave behind, ultimately fleeing and realising that i am super useless and don't have any applyable skills for the situation.

In the 2nd Dream I was in an european Inner City, sitting in a café talking to some other guy, suddenly a shooting starts. Panic ensues, people start to run away from the scene, i run into a building and hide behind some wall, next to a wide store window. from there can see cops with automatic weapons behind some car, shooting at enemies. A Person who was also fleeing runs by and gets hit by Machine gun fire in front of the window, approx 4 meters away from me nd falls on the ground, i start running deeper into the building, around a corner, and awake

The fuck is this. Its not that i watch gore vids or so, but where the fuck does that come from?

Good question. Happened to me without watching any gore, but I was usually in warzone. I have the theory, that our subconsciousness tries to cope with our shitty lifes turning the situation into more primitive problems according to our deeper nature. Something like a flight or fight reaction.

I had a nightmare last night with a road rager who was threatening my life. I locked myself in a building and was trying to take a picture of his license plate, but in typical dream world fashion, the license plate kept changing. Too bad I didn't pick up on that detail and go all lucid and shit.

Yeah some sort of stress release.
Had more Nightmares when i faced a lot of stress at work. There are also different grades of vividness and both today were super vivid and feel like actual memories

Damn bro I hope you get better sleep. I have only been sleeping 6 hours recently for spme reason

I either sleep badly or dream very vividly. There are weeks where i have more social life and interactions in dreams than in real life, so it kinda of an cope for me being able to be away from my life and still experience stuff.
