Discussion Just watched the truman show and it was a fucking waste of my time

I kept watching because I thought that he was going to commit a massacre or at least murder his wife and best friend and the director or something. Well what was I thinking, the show is made by normies. They would never understand. Any person would go insane at the end and either have a heart attack or want to take revenge. Not be happy. After realizing that you were being tortured your whole life while the entire world was watching you for entertainment.

So disappointed. What did you think of the movie?

Does it have a bad/dark ending, a ''good'' ending where the main character ends up living a happy live, or an actual happy ending where the main character goes on a massacre?

The issue I have with the truman show is that they try to play it off as a good ending, but it's fucking horrible, considering how the whole world is apparently sadistic and the guy has to live with multiple types of trauma now, not being able to trust anyone.
