It's anything but acknowledge the uncomfortable truth that looks matter for these people. Anything but acknowledge they're playing their part in a superficial and uncaring society, just like everyone else.

I've been "talking to people" for over 40 years. People gave me a degree, people hired me, people ask me to quote for their projects because they like what I did for them on the previous project.

None of it makes anyone want to fuck you if you're ugly, neurodivergent, or some combination of those.
