With all the cash they have i'm pretty sure they can draw decent cartoons and write good stories.

drawing takes time, maybe it'd lengthen production times

also if it's a comedy you wouldn't really expect it to look super-amazing, you're basically aiming for Simpsons-tier except BCG has even less drama

besides even with the stuff which does drama finales (Star, Amphibia, Owl) it works pretty well with the simple animation

you can emphasize subtleties of expression more when the basic form is simple

in a way that's what Teen Titans Go does when compared to classic Teen Titans if you overlook the excess-joke plot
