Seriously, just look at what society has "progressed to". Years ago sex work was looked down upon, and not legal in a lot of countries ( that is a downside for ugly men/ escortcels too). a few years after, society started to understand that there are needs that need to be met and services rendered. of course, there is no sympathy for escortcels and men who seek sex workers, as it was stil seen as " misogynist" and " the possibility of women being trafficked ".

It's very sad to see that in the age of patreon and onlyfans, one of the best ways to make big money easily is online, using those services.
However, while it's true that incentive for physical sex work is reduced, there is still a demand for it, and there is a point where so many girls whore themselves out online that it's scarcity value decreases overall.

So maybe there will be a shift in terms of pricing, but I don't think that physical sex work is endangered.
