Just had the most humiliating interview.

First they gave me 20-30 mins of exam to do programming questions, and they were simple but tricky shit, like static and public classes. I could tell my answers based on the managers reactions.

They were smiling with visible teeth, probably laughing at my unprepared answers. I knew I'm gonna fail this one, and they were one sided too.

I could tell that they didn't liked my "only worked on one project" during my work experience, which isn't my fault because you do what you're told, not what you want. How is that my fault again?

No replies? Over for wagiecels

They made you do an exam :giga::feelstrash:

There's no exam for your face.

Most companies have only one project to work on. I don't see how this is an issue. It sounds more like you didn't market your job experience well enough. You have to massage the facts so that they make you look good. Most people keep track of things they did and stats they can use later to prove how great they were at their job. E.g., increased test coverage from 49% to 76%.

Not to blame you at all, it sounds like it was a panel interview, and my policy is that if they feel the need to outnumber you during an interview, then they are incompetent and everything that goes wrong is their fault.

what stops you from becoming a better programmer and acing the next interview?

Whether I pass a interview is much dependent if the interviewer eats up my autistic rambling. I kid you not.

That said I got a offer from another job. not well paying but I simply want experience and I'm content with a job.

Also it's my ADHD + autism. I know the logic behind programming but always forget the syntax and sometimes rules. I have my IDE for this.

Create a complicated web lies to use in interviews. Go on the internet and steal other people’s project experience and make it your own. This is what I do

Today you can do it "legally" using chatGPT
