Warm approach is inferior to cold approach. With cold approach the numbers are on your side, the chances of one out of 10000 girls you approach finding you doable is way higher than a specific student from your class or co-worker doing so. Yes, cold approaching is harder than warm approaching, but the "numbers game" advantage easily make up for that.
