It's more a normalfag hobby like video games nowadays than an incel/outcast hobby, the same as tabletop games or reptile/amphibian/invertebrate keeping or coding or Bitcoins which were once incel/outcast activities, but are nowadays normalfag central.

It depends on the types of anime you watch.

Anime like Monster Musume is definitely incel tier. I am now watching Love Live! Sunshine! which is more of an anime catered to females, so men who watch that are definitely incel tier too.

Anime like Naruto, Death Note and Attack on Titan are for normies. I don't watch normie anime.

Good taste. Monster Musume, Shimoneta and Prison School were my teenage years.

ironically me (other than the dubs of Pokemon and Blade Runner Black Lotus on Saturdays) because of my mentalceldom

watcihng anime is like sex for me but I'm too paranoid/depressed/angry to enjoy anime like I once did due to where I'm situated

and I'm an extreme weeabo who has probably watched over a hundred titles at this point...

*checks MAL* apparently I've marked 226 titles as completed, and I know I overlooked a lot, so it's probably more like 300 or 400

though it prob seems like less since there are sometimes multiple listing for a single arching title which has had multiple seasons with title tweaks like Ippo and Higurashi
