It depends on where you live. If you're in a small town/countryside with only family friendly houses then a car is very important to impress and support foids.
If you're in a city with alot of public transport and apartments then it's not as important.

Of course you are limited within the options you have. You cannot even be a delivery man without a driver licence, most of the times you cannot even work as a janitor. Also you cannot work within the repair serive and most of the times not even in customer service in general (computer service or craftsmanship). Also most jobs do want to see someone with a driver licence. If you do not have it other people might get the job instead of you. You can cover up for this with betetr education instead and if you live nearby that company for example but not otherwise.

Girl lived on the other side of the city 80km away. And she couldn't have me at her place (probably still lived with parents). The only way it could have worked is if I had a car. She ghosted me. That was the very last missed opportunity before I gave up and started escortcelling.
