Hard to believe this was 13 years ago...

I think we all saw this coming from a mile away. It was ultimately inevitable. One less reason to be a console gamer these days. There's hardly any console exclusives anymore anyways.

They never cared, man. They just used an opportunity that was handed to them on a silver platter because Sony had to, not because they wanted to.
You must keep in mind that Sony makes most of its revenue with the Playstation brand.
They rely on its success heavily.
Meanwhile Microslop can throw money at Xbox and not even scream "Do something" .

They just have all the money, so they are not going anywhere anytime soon.
