I've re-added the claim that they're mostly white after seeing it was removed by The Anome. I've included three four sources specifically for the whiteness claim:

• The Incel Movement has been identified as a strand of a broader trend of young white males being radicalised online. The Week

• "[Incels are] young, frustrated white males in their late teens into their early twenties who are having a hard time adjusting to adulthood." (part of a quote attributed to Heidi Beirich, the director of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project) NBC News

So lets see, the evidence level wikipedia requires is 4 news sources that regularly cite wikipedia for their claims, if they even bother to cite anything for their claims at all.

Lets investigate these sources:

1) Theweek.co.uk claims:

There is ZERO SOURCING OR EVIDENCE for this claim. Its literally just the author making it up.

2) Washington Post - Uses a georgia university study from 2001, which looked at JUST 81 STUDENTS AT THE UNI WHO WERE INCEL. Is it such a fucking shock that most of these students were white, in a majority white university, in a majority white state?

3) Toronto City News:-

According to University of Toronto Sociology professor Judith Taylor, Incel was a group started by a young Canadian woman in 1993 for people who struggled to find acceptance in their social lives and often found themselves “involuntarily celibate.”

The term would soon be appropriated by groups of disaffected, young white males who often vented their frustrations on online forums.

“(They) used it as a mechanism for talking about their resentment and hatred,” Taylor told CityNews. “Their resentment against socially successful men, their resentment against women who were withholding sex…”

So its professor Judith Taylor now making this claim. Who is she? A woman and Gender studies Institute professor. Maybe she studies incels? Nope:-
