Just watched on Netflix 'Christine Amanpour: Sex & Love Around The World' first episode - Tokyo: "A look at love in Tokyo explores sexless marriages, skin-touching clubs and sexual or intimacy needs of men and women, plus the country's sex history."
To the blue pill observer, he might think that it's a cultural thing that married Japanese couples stop having sex and they can still continue to live and have a happy family life, etc.
Then there is a subtle hint when one of married women admits that although she didn't have sex for 10 years with her husband, she does actually have a boyfriend she's cheating on her husband with, and she thinks even if he finds out, he won't mind.
Basically getting married in Japan is the biggest scam in the world.
